Strategic Needs Assessment report
The Strategic Needs Assessment report containing the key outputs from the analysis tool costs £3,500.
Standard package
The Planning4care standard package for public sector organisations costs £5,000. This includes:
- Web-based access to the Planning4care tool for a single Local Authority area
- Access to regional and national comparator data
- 12 months’ updates as updated population projections (ONS) and service data (KIGS/ Information Centre) become available
- Strategic Needs Assessment report containing the key outputs from the analysis tool
- Two standard care scenarios (one based on continuation of current service patterns and the other on the Wanless core outcomes model)
- Facility to adjust current service patterns and unit costs in line with local values
- A half day introductory briefing
Added-value services
Optional additional services include:
- Ongoing updates on population projections (ONS) and service data (KIGS/ Information Centre) [£1000-£2000 per year, depending on number of years]
- Set of local MSOA level maps plotting socioeconomic indicators and numbers of people with different levels of social care needs; geographic distribution of current social care clients can be overlaid if postcode data can be supplied [£2000 per set]
- Short report following data update, outlining main impacts [£250 per report]
- Analysis of a further set of core scenarios including changes in levels of informal care and the impact of changes in population health [£2,500 per set]
Group discounts
Discounted rates are available to groups of councils purchasing Planning4care jointly and at the same time. These councils would have the additional benefit of all having access to the data pertaining to every member of the group. Discounts are as follows:
- 1 to 5 councils: no discount
- 6 to 10 councils: 10% discount
- 11 or more councils: 20% discount
Additional services
We are also able to offer additional bespoke services including:
- The development of further individually defined scenarios
- Gap analysis between local needs and local social care provision for the purposes of market development
- Assistance with the development of longer-term strategies through consultancy and workshops
